2010 was a very challenging year at Langford Islamic College, with new additions in human resource as well infrastructure. The challenges was a step towards the College raising academic levels as well teaching excellence. The focus towards the end of 2010 was to implement new goals and direction based upon our past strengths.

Praise be to Almighty Allah, who gave us guidance and direction in overcoming those challenges. We are now in 2011 and the College is moving towards the goals outlined with the help of the Langford Islamic College Staff members. Enrolment numbers are beginning to be strong, our new annexe building is taking shape. Insha Allah by the end of the Year students will be able to enjoy the new facilities.

In a school where staff actively encourage and support students to excel, where students demonstrate high levels of motivation and the capacity to work together harmoniously, and where a strong partnership exists with the parent community, it is easy to see the school moving ahead and be known in the community as a College that believes in Knowledge, Faith and Discipline.

Langford Islamic College continues to maintain Islamic tradition as well as Academic commitment. Throughout 2011 we will strive to build our reputation of achievement across our academic, Islamic and physical education programs. Our goal is that all students enjoy a positive, happy and successful experience at College. I look forward to working closely with staff, students, parents and the wider school community toward the achievement of our goal.
